Losely quoted from Matthew Henry's Commentary, if we mean to follow Christ, we must lay aside the thoughts of great things in the world. Christ said "Follow me". He also said "the harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few, therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest." (Matthew 9:37)

This is the aim: To plough, prepare the ground and sow every day, not looking back. And when the harvest is ready, be available.

This is not a business. Christianity is not a profession. 

another language is merely a platform for reflection and teaching, trying hard, aided by tons of grace, to apply the Word of the living God to an everyday profession.

Forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead, press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Phil 3: 13-14)

Live every day, hour, minute, second humbly, in expectation of meeting our Maker.
